Rob Conlon

Rob started to play the trombone at school and played trombone in a number of ensembles at Bolton Music Centre whilst studying his chosen instrument with Simon Talbot our principal trombonist. On returning from University Rob has played with a number of groups throughout the north west over the past 20 years and for a while studied with former Halle Orchestra Bass trombonist, Neville Roberts. Rob deputised with Corus Brass over a number years before joining the ensemble as a permanent member in April 2008.
Outside of music making Rob is a Senior Physiotherapist working for a local orthopaedic hospital and his specialism has resulted in him presenting papers and teaching both in the UK and India.
